ADDITIONAL INFORMATION on Passport and Visas

PASSPORT

Please make a police report immediately if you lose your passport. To replace a lost passport, you need to contact the High Commission of Malaysia (Immigration Office). You will need to give them a copy of the police report and a copy of your lost passport as proof and that can be obtained from MARA London office (through the copy of your passport that you sent when registering with MARA London office).

VISA

Your visa needs to be renewed before it expires . Every time you renew your visa, please obtain a letter from your university that confirms your status as a full time student and a financial guarantee letter from MARA London office. Submit these together with your application to extend the visa to the British Home Office. MARA London do not refund the fees for visa extension.

As with new surroundings, you will experience a different phase of life where you will gain knowledge academically as well as through daily experiences. Some of you will enjoy living in this country but others may face some difficulty. We hope that if you are faced with any hardships, you will be positive in dealing with it and always remember that we are here to help you in any way we can.
